[ SignTong ]EQ4ALL Exhibits at the 39th Information Culture Month Ceremony, Showcasing "Information Accessibility for Everyone"

EQ4ALL participated as an exhibitor at the 39th Information Culture Month ceremony, held on June 17, 2026 at Nuritkum Square in Seoul. Organized by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the National Information Society Agency (NIA), this year's event was held under the theme "AI for All: A Healthy and Safe Digital Culture."

Under the booth theme "Information Accessibility for Everyone," EQ4ALL introduced two core services that use AI to close the information gap.

AI Sign Language Disaster Broadcasting converts emergency text alerts into a 3D sign language avatar and broadcasts them in real time. The conversion is automated using CAP (Common Alerting Protocol) standard data and is deployed across IPTV set-top boxes and next-generation terrestrial broadcasting standards (ATSC 3.0). Its goal is to deliver real-time safety information without barriers to Deaf people who use sign language as their first language.

EASYCAST (Easy Information Broadcasting) uses LLM (Large Language Model) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology to translate difficult, technical terminology into accurate and easy-to-understand information, delivered through AI dubbing. It helps people with developmental disabilities, those with limited literacy, and foreign residents in Korea understand media information more easily.

As AI advances at a rapid pace, the value of digital inclusion — ensuring its benefits reach everyone rather than only a few — was emphasized throughout the exhibition. EQ4ALL shared the same message on-site: AI only truly becomes "for all" when the technology reaches more people.
